Fall-Winter Preview
October 2010
The start of the fall-winter season is a gentle reminder that cold weather is near. We are stocked to the brim with hats for women, men and children that will keep the whole family warm and cozy.
With the continuing popularity of the fedora hat style, we are offering an extended collection for everyone. The Stetson Hat collection has many beautiful felt hats from which to choose in lots of colors.The Bailey Hat collection, is very nice as well and offers many traditional fedoras and stingy brims for ages 9 to 99. Women are jumping in and selecting many of the Stetson and Bailey hats to claim for themselves. Christine Moore Millinery is offering their version of what we feel is the sweetest fedora for women in a small shape that says “big is not always better.”
The cloche hat for women is very popular this year and we have an extended collection to offer our customers from felt cloches with beautiful silk and grosgrain trims, to wool fabric cloches. The Lillie & Cohoe collection is tops in this category with their Jeanette style offering amny fabric choices and sizes, along with their famous ear covers.
We are showing Casual Hats in bright colors in knits lined with fleece as a simple pull-on, as well as trooper hats with mittens to match. They show beautifully in the store and the selection is great. We have a new line of wool and polyester blend of casual hats under the name of Tuff Cookie, and they are definitely a big hit. Caps are a choice for many, and many are choosing caps -- for good reason. Ease of putting on and off, they are casual, they are available in head sizes, and many are available with ear cover protection. Choose from a lot of shapes throughout our store.
